Approximately 90 Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Arrived at or Departed from British Airports
Analysis has found that approximately 90 flights associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from UK airports, with some reportedly transporting women from the UK who claim they were exploited by the convicted child sex offender.
Flight Logs Reveal Pattern of Travel
The flight logs were among thousands of court documents and papers made public by Epsteinâs estate that have been released over the last year. The investigation found 87 flights linked to Epstein â featuring many that were previously unknown â arriving or departing from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel
Unidentified female passengers were documented among the passengers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys happened following Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a child.
âThis is âshockingâ that there had never been a âthorough probe in the UKâ into his operations in the country,â said American attorneys acting for numerous Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Legal Proceedings
Testimony from one of the British victims aided the conviction of Epsteinâs associate Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that survivor has not been approached by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police stated they had ânot been provided with any new evidence that would support restarting the inquiry.â They commented, âShould fresh and pertinent evidence be brought to our attention, including any arising from the disclosure of material in the US, we will assess it.â
Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
A bill to release all files held by the American government in concerning Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are expected to be made public.
Additionally, a US judge ordered last week that the department could publicly release evidence from a trafficking prosecution against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
