Two-time heavyweight champion Joshua Discharged from Medical Facility in Nigeria Following Fatal Car Crash

Former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has left the medical facility, local government spokespeople stated on Wednesday night. The athlete was caught in a vehicular crash outside Lagos on December 29th, a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of two of his close associates.

Under Observation for Minor Injuries

The sports star had remained in the hospital while recovering from minor injuries, his management team stated earlier on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, said in a statement online that Joshua was judged healthy enough to “recuperate at home”.

“Joshua and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two deceased friends as they were being prepared for repatriation,” the official remarked.

Remembering the Victims

Those who lost their lives were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the athlete was heartbroken and overcome with emotion over the loss of his two close friends.”

This update on his health arrives after the global fight fans offered its support for the champion in the aftermath of the devastating accident.
